We developed the agile web application Můj kurýr (My Courier), which simplifies and speeds up parcel shipping and product returns – strengthening DPD SK’s position on the Slovak market.
DPD SK is part of DPDgroup, Europe’s largest parcel delivery network, operating in more than 230 countries worldwide. The Slovak branch wanted to elevate its customer service, particularly in the area of parcel sending and returns. The goal was to simplify the process for both corporate clients and private users – individuals sending or returning parcels from e-shops. DPD SK aimed to provide a modern, clear, and easy-to-use service for everyone.
We delivered the Můj kurýr web application, enabling fast parcel sending and returns directly in the browser, including price calculation.
The challenge
Designing a universal tool that would be simple for end users yet fully compatible with DPD’s logistics processes. The solution had to ensure accurate cost calculation, intuitive UX, and rapid implementation.
How we solved it
We opted for agile development with a strong emphasis on user testing. We created a clear and easy-to-use web application, integrated the price calculator, and connected it to logistics systems (WMS). Close collaboration with DPD SK ensured a smooth launch and high adoption among users.
The Můj kurýr application simplified parcel sending and returns directly from the browser — from price calculation and parcel preparation to parcel tracking. The return process was shortened to just a few minutes. The solution covers both private customers and small businesses and runs without any software installation. By integrating instantly with DPD SK’s logistics processes, the application removed the barrier of complicated returns and significantly strengthened the company’s market position.
